Inspired by his grandfather’s brother, the legendary Henry Lawson at an early age, began a life long interest in the Pioneering period, the Gold Rush and various other great epochs of history.

The artist's dedication and extensive work experience as a painter has won him the appreciation from buyers and critics alike who overcome by the moods of light and atmosphere feel like they are “walking into the painting, and being transformed to another time and place.”

He paints his scenarios with an acute sensitivity to the era in which they are set, travelling to the area and studying early photographic records in order to transform these scenes into accurate accounts of times past.
